FAQ

Questions you should ask.

01Can I lose money?

Yes. You set a floor, for example 90%, and the vault tries to keep your value above it. It is not a guarantee. It can fail if prices gap more than about 24% before the vault can rebalance: the worst one-week window we simulated lost 24%, and 0.44% of one-year windows at a 90% floor ended more than 1 point below it. Your money is still in the market, so it can fall to the floor. The token issuer can also pause or block a stock token. See Risks.

02Can a sell be delayed?

Yes. The vault sells only when the current price and the 10-minute average agree closely. In a fast crash a sell can wait until they agree, and your value can fall below the floor in the meantime. See Risks.

03What happens if my value hits the floor?

The vault holds only USDT until your one-year term ends. Your value stays at about the floor, not exactly: a gap loss or rounding can leave it slightly below. You miss any recovery in that term. This is the cash lock.

04How much upside do I give up?

About 4 × (100 − floor)% of the gain is kept: roughly 40% at a 90% floor, 20% at 95%. In our backtest at a 90% floor the vault kept about 42% of the gain in up years for a three-stock basket (45% for NVDA, 32% for QQQ). That is a pooled average, not a typical year. See The trade-off.

05Is this insurance? Is anyone paying me if I lose?

No. No one pays you. It is a rule the vault follows: sell stock as prices fall, buy as they rise.

06Do you use leverage, options or borrowing?

No. Spot trades only: swaps between stock tokens and USDT on BNB Chain. See Spot only.

07Who holds my money?

Your own vault contract holds it, one per position. Not Floor and not the keeper wallet. The contracts are live on BNB Chain mainnet and source-verified on BscScan (addresses). The reviews so far are AI-assisted, not a human audit. Three trusted roles (keeper, guardian, owner) can stop or direct trading but cannot take your funds. See Risks.

08Why not just sell my stocks if I'm scared?

You can. Then you miss any rise. Floor keeps you in the market, with a limit on how far you can fall, and you keep part of the gain.

09What does it cost?

There is no protocol fee in v1. The cost is the upside you give up, plus trading costs. Live aggregator quotes on a $10k round trip were 0.7 to 6.6 basis points for QQQB, NVDAB, SPCXB and SPYB (2026-10-02). That holds only if the vault uses the aggregator route. A direct PancakeSwap route measured about 49 bps for NVDAB and SPCXB and 1 bp for QQQB at 100 USDT. See costs.

10What happens on weekends?

The vault does not rebalance on weekends. We assume the full weekend gap hits your value. The vault trades only Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 19:30 UTC. The biggest one-night or weekend drop since 2018 was NVDA's −19.3%.

11Do I need to know crypto?

You need a BNB Chain wallet, USDT and a little BNB for gas. Deposit USDT only, pick a basket, then pick one number. Launch caps: 1,000 USDT per position, 5,000 USDT in total.
